Happy 10th Birthday, sweetie. I forbid you to turn another year older but yet again you did it anyway.
By the way, this picture may look all sweet and fun, but this is the last thing you want to see if you are a pitcher on the other team in Rachel's softball league. She is likely to send your next pitch over the outfielders' heads. I know. We don't know where that comes from either.
It is so hot and humid! Today Sammy asked me if it was going to rain as I was getting to the end of a long sweaty mow. We had been hearing thunder for a while. I told him if it did I would go up and get in my bathing suit and come outside and stand in it. A half-hour later the rain started to come. I forgot what I had said but Sam didn't. "Daddy you said!!" So we did. It was so fun. I highly recommend standing in a summer rain storm. But not near any tall metal objects or in an open field of course...
