We are sad to say that our amazing chemo nurse, Jane Foley, is moving on from Beth Israel Deaconness. For a while she's been mulling a change of scene & pace for the last part of her career. Words cannot express what 14 years of Jane's care have done for us on this journey. Those of us with hospital experience know already how the people in this profession seem to be cut from different cloth. Still. Jane's talent to not just administer the drugs but also the kindness, patience, and strength necessary is unparalleled. It is nothing less than an act of love. Godspeed, Jane. We will catch up with you as often as we can at Sweet Basil!
