Well according to Becca the first radiation appointment yesterday was the most painful experience she's had to endure yet since this whole thing began. More than two hours on a cold metal table partially on her side, neck twisted very uncomfortably so they could align everything just right, taking multiple x-rays before they could finally do the radiation. No pillow allowed. Or even a rolled up towel. Or a bag of soggy spaghetti. Nuthin.
Hopefully this will be the worst of it since future appointments are supposed to take much less time. Their systems just had an upgrade installed, which is the last thing us software guys want to hear. Take it from me. An upgrade worth its salt never goes smoothly. In software there is no gain without pain. And sure enough, today's appointment was delayed because of system problems. Aye chee wah wah. But once started it was only a half-hour. That time should go down even more tomorrow.
Speaking of which. Tomorrow is Becca's birthday! Yes, yes, did you even know? I know you're all sitting out there thinking what oh what can I do in such short time? Well I'll tell you. It's just one word. Ready now?
Comment.

Thanks for posting a comment! If you don't know us, please don't comment. No offense but this blog is only meant for family and friends. As for you, friends and family, we're going to moderate all the comments not because we don't trust you, but because we don't want to miss anything. Thank you all so much for your support. This would be so much harder without you.
