This weekend, a whirlwind visit from the Gates family! We have been long overdue this year since we couldn't make it down to New Suffolk for our usual July 4th stay. (hmmm what were doing beginning of July?) So with the summer winding down and a rainy weekend forcast, Clayton and Jenn took matters into their own hands and brought the party to us, complete with a delicious spicy grilled pork with banana chutney dinner on Saturday night.
And then after a delectable plum tart, Jack and Becca and I taught them Settlers of Catan. More Settlers addicts are born. (hands off, Brian, they're just starting out)
Great to see the gorgeous Gates daughters as well. All these kids are growing up so fast. What more can you ask for than great food and great company? What a treat!
