At Becca's herceptin visit yesterday there was extra commotion, as a photographer and assorted entourage followed Becca and her nurse and oncologist around taking pictures for a Beth Israel Hospital magazine that is scheduled to go out to everyone in the local area, focusing on the stellar oncology department. Everyone was on best behavior as lighting was adjusted and comments like "yeah yeah, check her heartbeat, fantastic!" bounced around the room.
So local readers, don't throw out that junk mail so fast if you see Beth Israel on it. You may just recognize someone in a picture or two in there.
Our summer is going splendidly, and we hope yours is too. Back under for a while while we take that most anticipated of vacations to the Garden Isle. Less than two weeks away! And no, there will not be any blog postings.
