early results! Success!

Our beloved oncologist called us just now before she went on vacation because she got the scan results already, and EVERYTHING IS NORMAL. Woo-hoo! I cannot even describe to you how excited we are.

The sternal region was classified as "no-change" on the bone scan, and "slightly improved" on the CT scan, which our onc thinks is apt to be more accurate. Bear in mind that "no change" is not necessarily a bad thing. Remember bone scans have trouble telling the difference between healing bone and diseased bone; they key is that whatever it is, it's not changing, which is a very, very good thing.
