All set then, and barely a flake for our drive home in the afternoon. The scans went without a hitch, except for the bone scan tech who didn't know quite how to use the machine. (Excuse me?) She got supervision though, so I think we're ok. As an added bonus, the most loathsome part of the CT scan for Becca was obviated: no chalk goop to drink! Apparently our onc. didn't even want the full CT scan; she was only interested in the sternal area. So I guess no scanning the guts means no drinking the goop.
No results until our next Herceptin appt, Feb 24. Thanks for all your thoughts. And thank you Kari and Debbie for the kid wrangling too!
