Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone! Becca just had a clean mammo on the right side so we're chuggin' along. Last week during Herceptin Becca was complaining about all the work stress she has and then qualified the complaint, assuring the nurses and me that it was nice to have work stress and no other kind of stress. You know what we mean, Pointy Boots brethren.
As we enter this joyful holiday season now THREE YEARS out from the scary beginning of this journey, I stop and reflect on the wonder of it all and am humbled. I was just reminded of this great Robert Frost line... "We dance round in a ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and knows." Ain't it the truth.
So have a great season y'all. Hope you can stop the stress in its tracks for a moment and just soak it all in. Wonder. Laugh. Marvel. Smile. Be humbled. Pass the egg nog.
