Ok well here's the latest. The fatigue is becoming quite crushing. Becca is finding it hard to function intelligently for more than an hour at a crack. So now I think we're at a point where we can say that, at least sleep-wise, this is about the same as the off-weeks of the first course. The A/C sleeps were more on the multi-day side and were much more flu-like in their depth, but the current sleeps are now just as frustrating, because it is very hard to get anything meaningful done when you only have an hour or so to do it. So eff you, Taxol. We are going in tomorrow for number 8 but we are doing it under protest. With his freshly-learned fraction ability, Jack tells me this is two-thirds of the way there. I kinda wish it were eleven-twelfths. The cumulative effect of this stuff could not be more clear.
In other news, Sammy proudly announced this weekend that "I know 3 swears! Middle-finger, hell, and ASS."
Aye caramba. Who in the world is parenting this child?
And in cute news, I made Sydney crack a smile this weekend! Either that or she had some great gas, but I'll take what I can get. Is this girl CUTE or what? You can try this at home too with the nearest baby you can get your hands on. The trick is this: 3-month-olds have not discovered their feet yet, and they think it is hilarious if you grab their feet and show them to them. You can add a song if you want, and if you peg the song climax to one of their feet touching their nose, well then, that is just the funniest thing in the world.
In Cecilia news, we have now reached the point in the Brahms where I can heartily recommend that you consider checking us out on May 1st if you are in the Boston area. It is fun stuff, and also we're not half bad, ya know?
Lastly, thanks very much to Jen who showed up Saturday with some awesome turkey chili. And even more helpful, she delivered it in three separate freezable containers. Now there's a girl who is keeping up on the sitch and removing yet another step in our food process!
