...out of 4 "chemo cosmo" cocktails, as Becca likes to call them, because one of the drugs is bright red. So to recap, 8 weeks of this and 12 weeks of the next (more generally tolerated) cocktail, which we haven't assigned a cute name to because we haven't seen it yet.
Becca is tired but still on her feet this evening. Emily is here with dinner, yay!
Tomorrow it's in to Boston for a meeting with the surgeon, then a Neulasta shot and then the start of the genetics testing.
The genetics evaluation takes 4-6 weeks. It has bearing on the surgery in May. Long story short, if she's got the gene that might mean a recommendation for more drastic surgery because chances of recurrence go way up. And it has ramifications for other female members of her family.
