I give up. How many times on this blog have I said "This is what we expected" or "We are assured this will happen" or "The lottery numbers tomorrow will be 3-8-18-22-27-36"? We thought we were in for the long sleepy haul starting yesterday but darned if Becca wasn't on her feet this morning after a night neither of us slept well through (poor Sammy was coughing all night).
She had a vigorous morning, worked until the appointment, came home and worked a bit more, then slept for a few hours in the afternoon (hard!). Then she was back at it for the evening. So much for a slow recovery.
So maybe I should no longer try to act like we know what is coming in the next few days or that every twist and turn is expected. It's just not and that's the way it is, ya know? I'll try to just tell you how she is now and leave it at that.
So yes, our 3rd visit to see Mr. Neulasta today and no complaints. He still exhibits exemplary behavior, as every well-meaning biotech drug should. Becca's white cells are probably feeling pretty good about themselves right about now.
